Covers NFL Conference Championship Predictions: Expert Best Bets and SGPs for AFC/NFC Title Games

There are just two weeks of NFL action left this season — the Super Bowl on February 11… and the AFC and NFC Championship games (which will determine who plays in the Big Game) that are set to happen this Sunday.

After a Wild Card Round that was lacking in competitiveness, the Divisional Round brought us plenty of late-game drama, and now we have two incredible matchups on tap:

The No. 1 seed 49ers host a Detroit side that’s looking to reach its first Super Bowl ever.

Lamar Jackson and the No. 1 Ravens look to quiet their doubters… but need to do so against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, who are hunting for their fourth SB appearance in the past five seasons.

Covers NFL betting expert Jason Logan has free NFL picks for both of these matchups, including a best bet and a same-game parlay to play for both championship games.

Check out his plays below, with all Conference Championship odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.

Jason Logan’s Chiefs at Ravens picks

Best bet: Lamar Jackson Over 1.5 pass TD (+144)

The probable return of tight end Mark Andrews is music to Jackson’s ears. He’s been sidelined since Week 11 with an ankle injury but was a full participant in practice last week before sitting out the Divisional Round. Andrews had eight touchdown catches before going down and led the Ravens in receiving TDs the previous two seasons. He’s Jackson’s top target and adds another reliable red zone option.

Jason Logan’s Lions at 49ers picks

Best bet: Lions team total Under 21.5 (-116)

Jared Goff has benefitted not only from a home-friendly schedule but also from playing at indoor venues; he sees his production slip in the fresh air with his completion rate dropping to 63.59% (vs. 70.2% indoors) and his yards per attempt at 6.47 (8.09 indoors), leading to a low passer rating of 87.9 (104.0 indoors). Venue aside, Goff takes on one of the best pass defenses in the league, as the 49ers finished No. 6 in EPA allowed per dropback and gave up the fifth-fewest yards per attempt (5.9), with opposing QBs owning an average passer rating of 79.2.
