Jose Mourinho hopes Tottenham get another chance to face Bayern Munich in a proper match in the Champions League.
The Bundesliga giants recorded a 3-1 win over Spurs in Munich on Wednesday to wrap up a perfect campaign in Group B.
It came just over two months after Bayern thrashed Tottenham 7-2 in London, but Spurs head coach Mourinho would welcome another meeting with the German outfit.
My wish is to [come] back and if we come back it has to be for the quarter-final or semi-final because we cannot play Bayern in the next round, he told a news conference.
My wish is to be back here for a proper match, a match that we would all like.
FULL-TIME: It s defeat in Munich in our final group game. We finish second in Group B.

Cesc Fabregas has backed Eden Hazard to “win everything” at Real Madrid, with a move from Chelsea reportedly set to be completed.
The Belgium international has been one of the star performers in the Premier League since moving to Stamford Bridge seven years ago, but gave a strong indication on Wednesday that his match-winning showing against Arsenal in the Europa League final would be his last appearance for the club.
Monaco midfielder Fabregas, who won two Premier League titles alongside Hazard, feels that he can go on and compete for both individual and team honours that have not been achievable in London.
It is a difficult situation and a difficult opinion for me to have,” Fabregas told Goal.
He has been at Chelsea – and I don t want people t…
Denmark s upcoming international friendlies are under threat with the local FA and Danish players at odds over a new pay deal.
The Danish Football Association (DBU) agreed to a new series of meetings with the Danish Players Association (Spillerforeningen) on Tuesday in an effort to agree a new pay deal, although Denmark s March friendlies remain under threat.
DBU and Spillerforeningen have been at odds since February 18 when the former sent a letter to approximately 60 players involved with Denmark s senior, under-21 and women s national teams.
The letter claimed negotiations about a new collective agreement had collapsed and set a deadline for Monday, for players to sign individual deals for national team duty at 17 per cent lower than the previous deal.
Carlos Tevez scored twice and created one as Juventus eased into the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals courtesy of a 3-0 victory at Borussia Dortmund.
The Argentina international, who also scored in Juve s 2-1 victory in the last-16 first-leg tie in Turin, caught goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller off guard in the early stages of Wednesday s contest at Signal Iduna Park.
Tevez then played in Alvaro Morata, also on the scoresheet in Turin three weeks ago, to tap home the second with 20 minutes remaining.
The former Manchester City man drilled home a third in the 79th minute to cap off a fine individual performance and reward Juve s counter-attacking masterclass, as they completed a 5-1 aggregate win.
It was no less than the Serie A champions deserved, wit…
Manchester City have confirmed the signing of full-back Sergio Gomez on a four-year deal from Anderlecht.
The 21-year-old, formerly of Barcelona s youth set-up and Borussia Dortmund, worked with ex-City captain Vincent Kompany at the Belgian club and has joined for a reported fee of £11million.
Gomez is City s fourth acquisition of the transfer window, following on from the captures of Kalvin Phillips, Erling Haaland and Stefan Ortega.
I am incredibly proud and happy to have joined Manchester City, he told the club s official website.
City are the best team in England and in Pep Guardiola I have a chance to learn and develop under the most outstanding manager in world football.
To be able to be part of this club is a dream come true for me and…
Antonio Conte has left Tottenham by mutual consent, a week on from criticising the club and players in a remarkable outburst, with assistant Cristian Stellini to take charge until the end of the season.
Conte hit out after Spurs blew a two-goal lead in a 3-3 draw away to rock-bottom Southampton last Saturday, calling his players selfish and questioning Tottenham s lack of success during Daniel Levy s time as chairman,
He was reportedly asked by Levy and club chiefs to clarify those comments, apparently insisting his 20 years and they never won something comment was aimed at the players, rather than his bosses.
But seemingly Conte s position had become untenable, with Spurs confirming the Italian s departure on Sunday, eight days on from his public tirade.
Il Corriere dello Sport claims that AS Roma are hot on the trail of Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Ante Coric.
The 20-year-old has largely impressed after joining as a youngster from Red Bull Salzburg and he already has 3 Croatia caps to his name.
Coric was reportedly close to joining Liverpool in the summer of 2016, while he has now emerged as a target for AS Roma.
According to reports, the Giallorossi recently submitted a €12 million proposal for the central midfielder.
AS Roma transfer guru Monchi hopes to wrap up the deal quickly before other interested sides such as Tottenham, Everton, Man City and Liverpool have time to act.
Ante Coric has so far managed 22 goals and as many assists in 133 competitive appearances for Dinamo Zagreb.

Jurgen Klopp’s decision to add the 18-year-old at the time to his first-team squad at the beginning of the 2017-18 season saw quite a few people scratch their head in bewilderment.
With his main rivals investing big in boosting their squad to cover the first-team deficits, the German genius opted to go for the Liverpool academy project and a local boy Trent Alexander-Arnold as a replacement for the injury-hit Nathaniel Clyne who’s been Klopp’s first-choice solution at right-back during the last campaign.
Month later and a fledgeling 19-year-old is standing as one of the breakthrough stars of the ongoing Premier League season. His excellent performances for Liverpool have caught plenty of eyes this term, while he also excelled at the international level as well.
Real eyeing Alex Sandro
Spanish daily newspaper Marca is reporting that Real Madrid are hot on the trail of FC Porto full-back Alex Sandro.
Los Blancos have already secured the signature of Danilo Luiz da Silva and the latest reports suggest they may not recruit another Dragons player.
With Fabio Coentrao set to leave, Real Madrid need to sign a back-up for Marcelo and the club officials believe Alex Sandro is the right man for the job.
The highly rated footballer should be available on a cut-price deal considering that his current contract at Estadio do Dragao is due to expire in June 2016.
Sandro s release clause may stand at €50 million, but it is perfectly clear he will be available for a lot less having failed to extend his deal.
